Best tailor apps in India (2026): an honest comparison
There are now more than a dozen apps for Indian tailoring shops and boutiques. Most of them do the basics: customers, measurements and orders. They differ on price, on how they handle karigars, on billing, and on which languages they speak.
We make one of these apps, Tailoring App, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to be fair, including about where other apps are a better fit than ours. Prices are as listed on each company's website in October 2026. They change often, so check before you pay.

Tailoring App
Tailoring App is built around the work floor. Each order moves through your own stages, such as cutting, stitching and finishing, on a board that the counter, the owner and every karigar's phone share. Karigars see only the jobs given to them, with the measurements and photos they need, and never the customer's name, phone number or price.
- Price: free for one person and 50 orders a month. ₹499 a month or ₹4,999 a year for up to 15 people with unlimited orders.
- Good at: measurements per customer with history and photos, production stages you name yourself, trial and delivery dates on the dashboard, an assistant that answers questions like "what is due this week", and a phone app that keeps saving orders and measurements when the network drops.
- Not yet: GST invoices, WhatsApp messages to customers, and Indian-language screens. If you need any of these today, look at the apps below.
Juvee
Juvee is the most complete of the paid apps. Alongside orders and measurements it has GST billing with advance and balance, karigar job management, fabric stock, staff payroll and attendance, and a dashboard for shops with more than one branch. It supports Tamil and Malayalam as well as English.
- Price: ₹10,190 a year. The free Basic plan allows 10 customers, 20 orders a month and one staff login.
- Best for: larger shops and boutiques that want billing, stock and payroll in the same app, and can pay for it.
TailorMate
TailorMate is one of the most widely installed tailor apps in India. It keeps customer records, measurements and orders in a simple format, with invoicing.
- Price: ₹200, ₹500 or ₹1,000 a month, with a free tier.
- Best for: a single tailor who wants a digital order book on the phone and little else.
BoutiqueAI
BoutiqueAI is aimed at boutiques. It has karigar job assignment and capacity planning, WhatsApp booking receipts and order alerts on paid plans, and a free catalogue website built from your product photos.
- Price: free Starter plan (15 orders a month, 100 customers, one staff login, three karigars). Studio is ₹299 a month and Growth is ₹699 a month.
- Best for: boutiques that want customers to get WhatsApp updates and to show designs online.

- Price: the Starter plan is listed at ₹2,000 a year.
- Best for: workshops where most of the team is on piece rate and the owner wants the khata out of the notebook.
Soi Dhaga
Soi Dhaga is an Android app with a browser dashboard, a karigar ledger, and screens in Gujarati and English.
- Price: ₹299 a month or ₹2,550 a year, after a 7-day trial.

How to choose
Start with the problem that costs you the most today.
- Orders and measurements get lost or mixed up: any of these apps will help. Pick the one your staff find easiest in the first week.
- Karigars and work in progress are the headache: look at how each app assigns work and what the karigar sees. In Tailoring App the karigar's phone shows the job, never the customer.
- You need GST invoices: Juvee, TailorBoss and Darzee list invoicing.
- Customers keep calling to ask if the order is ready: BoutiqueAI sends WhatsApp updates on its paid plans.
- Your team works in a regional language: Darzee, Juvee (Tamil, Malayalam) or Soi Dhaga (Gujarati).
- Price for a team matters most: compare what each plan costs for your number of people, not just the starting price. Tailoring App is ₹4,999 a year for up to 15 people.
Most of these apps have a free plan or a trial. Run one real week of orders through two of them before you decide. The right app is the one your counter and your karigars actually keep using.
