How to use this form

  • Measure over a thin shirt, never over a sweater or jacket. Hold the tape snug, not pulling.
  • If the customer brought a shirt or pant that fits well, measure it too and note what he wants changed.
  • For a kurta, use the shirt column and add the front slit. For a pyjama, tick the style; a churidar pyjama is cut longer than the leg so it gathers at the ankle.
  • Take crotch depth with the customer seated on a flat chair: from the side of the waist down to the seat. It is the measurement most often blamed for a pant that feels wrong when he sits.
  • Your shop name and phone are saved on this device for the next form and for the bill maker.

Keep the numbers for the next order

Gents customers reorder the same shirt and pant for years. In Tailoring App each measurement is saved against the customer with the date, so the next order starts from the last numbers, and the karigar sees the measurements without the customer's phone number.
