The boutique app for boutique owners
Customer measurements with photos, design notes, trials, karigar jobs and bills on WhatsApp, in one app for your boutique. Free for one person and 50 orders a month.
A boutique runs on details: the neck design the customer showed on her phone, the lining she chose, the trial before her sister's wedding, the karigar who is doing the embroidery. When those details live on paper slips, in WhatsApp chats and in the owner's head, the busy season is where they get lost.
Tailoring App is a boutique management app for boutiques in India, from a home boutique with one karigar to a designer studio with a team of fifteen.
Made for how a boutique works
Every customer, with her measurements. Measurements for every garment you make, from blouses and suits to lehengas, are saved against the customer with the date and up to three photos. A regular customer's next order starts from her last measurements, and you can see what changed since then.
Design notes where the karigar sees them. Write the neck and sleeve design, the piping and the lining on the order, and keep the reference photos with the measurement. The karigar sees both on the job, so they are not lost in a chat that scrolls away.
Trials and deliveries you cannot miss. Set the trial and delivery date when you book. The dashboard shows what is due this week, what is late and what has a trial today, so a wedding order never surprises you.
Karigars and embroidery work on one board. Name your own stages, such as cutting, stitching, embroidery, finishing and ready, and move each order along in one tap. The board shows which jobs have nobody working on them, and each karigar sees only their own jobs.
Your clients stay yours. Karigars see the garment, the measurements, the dates and your notes. They never see the customer's name, phone number or the price you quoted.
Advances, balances and bills on WhatsApp. Take an advance at booking and record each payment after it. Send the order slip, payment receipts and the final bill to the customer as a PDF on WhatsApp. GST tax invoices and bills of supply are included. Bills are in beta, and each boutique switches them on when it is ready.
Hindi and English. Orders, customers, measurements and karigar work screens are available in both, and each person picks their own.

A home boutique or a studio
Starting a boutique from home? Use the free plan on your own phone. Save each customer's measurements, keep track of advances and send bills on WhatsApp, so the business looks professional from the first order. When you take on a karigar, add them to the same app.
Running a boutique with a team? Give the counter, the owner and each karigar their own sign-in. The owner sees the whole floor, the counter books orders and takes payments, and karigars see only the work given to them.
On the phone
The app works in any phone's browser today at app.tailoringapp.com. The Android and iPhone app is coming to the Play Store and the App Store, and keeps working when the network drops.
Compared with other boutique apps
Several apps are made for Indian boutiques and tailors, including BoutiqueAI, Juvee, TailorMate and Darzee. Some are stronger on online catalogues, fabric stock or many regional languages. Tailoring App is strongest on the production floor: stages you name yourself, jobs for each karigar and customer details kept with the boutique. Our honest comparison of tailor and boutique apps sets them side by side on price and features.
Not ready for an app? Start with the free tools: a bill maker, printable blouse and salwar kameez measurement forms, and a rate list maker for your boutique's prices.
Questions
What is the best app for a boutique?
It depends on what your boutique needs most. If you have karigars and many orders with trial dates, choose an app with a production board and karigar jobs, like Tailoring App. If you mostly sell ready stock online, a catalogue or e-commerce app may suit you better. Our comparison of tailor and boutique apps lists the options.
Is there a free boutique app?
Yes. Tailoring App is free for one person and 50 orders a month, including measurements, the production board, and order slips, receipts and bills shared on WhatsApp.
Can I save customer measurements and design photos?
Yes. Measurements are saved against each customer with the date and up to three photos, and each order keeps its own design notes. The karigar sees the notes and photos on the job.
Can I send bills to customers on WhatsApp?
Yes. Order slips, payment receipts and bills, including GST tax invoices, are shared as a PDF on WhatsApp in one tap. Bills are in beta, and each boutique switches them on.
Can my karigars see my customers' phone numbers?
No. A karigar sees only the jobs given to them: the garment, the measurements, the dates and your notes. Not the customer's name, phone number or the price.
How much does a boutique app cost?
Tailoring App is free for one person and 50 orders a month. For the whole boutique, up to 15 people with unlimited orders, it is ₹499 a month or ₹4,999 a year.
